I Have to Do it All
Sermon Notes
[Isaiah 46:10] Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.
You CAN'T do it all because you were never MEANT to.
[Genesis 2:15] The LORD God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it.
[Genesis 3:19] By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return."
You weren’t designed to BE God, you were designed to NEED God.
Trying to be in CONTROL is the fastest way to lose your PEACE.
[Proverbs 3:5-6] Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. [6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Our IDENTITY shouldn't be in what we do, but in WHO we serve.
[Philippians 4:6-7] Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. [7] Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
God wants to bring PEACE to your CHAOS.
[Matthew 11:28-30] Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."
The invitation isn’t to WORK harder, it’s to WALK with Jesus.
