Sermon Notes

[Job 26:8] He wraps the rain in his thick clouds, and the clouds don't burst with the weight.

Every system relies on ANOTHER.

[Psalm 104:24] O LORD, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.

All throughout creation, we see a divine PARTNERSHIP.

Nothing thrives in ISOLATION.

[Colossians 1:17] He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.

There’s a DESIGNER holding everything together.

[Genesis 2:18] Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him."

Everything in creation was declared GOOD except ISOLATION.

[1 Corinthians 12:18-20; 25-27] But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. [19] How strange a body would be if it had only one part! [20] Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. [25] This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. [26] If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. [27] All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you is a part of it.

Our relationship with God is built on CONNECTION.

[John 15:4-5] Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. [5] "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

You are called to CONTRIBUTE to the life around you.
